Pastels and Brights #5

Walking around the city, I looked at some of my favorite windows. I definitely saw a color story happening in common with a lot of stores. Florals are all the rage this season so pastels and whites are very common in window themes. Also, brights and pops of colors really catch your eye.

"But if the process was something of an intellectual exercise for Mr. Simons, it did not show in the clothes. They were breathtakingly calm — fresh as can be for all the sharp, modern contrasts that they embraced. In fact, I heard people mentioning that as I left the show space. Each outfit seemed to reveal a different objective for Mr. Simons. There were the pop art references in a 1950s shoe and fashion illustrations that Andy Warhol did at the start of his career and which appeared on bags and on dresses (some embroidered) as part of a collaboration with the Warhol Foundation."
