Sheer Brilliance #2

A trend seen on Spring 2013 runways was called a "veil look". This transparency look creates a lightness, movement, and a very feminine, sexy feel. Silk, chiffon, organza and mousseline are the fabrics used to create this affect. Many of the designers used this trend in unexpected ways. Instead of having the transparency on the top as you see a lot now, they have used it on the bottom half in a pant or skirt. The little peak of skin is an amazing look and makes a piece look light as a feather.

  1. I love the sheer look too! It's been around for the last few seasons but I still love it!
